Shutter Points is an Android app highly focused and streamlined for Photographers.
It lets you take photo notes of your favourite places and subjects, easily and stress-free. Thanks to Machine Learning, you can now create notes faster and in a more automated way.
The app is available for free on Google Play.

The Shutter Points home screen is a collection of the user’s photo notes.
With a quick action, users can add new notes and assign to them categories or tags automatically suggested by the app.

To help user to reach their goal faster Shutter Points utilises Machine Learning algorithms to detect objects and scenes on the images users take.
Using this information the app automatically suggests location subjects and conditions.
A new tab bar replaces the previous dashboard navigation narrowing down the core-sections to five entry points, all accessible at a thumb reach.
The top bar expands in the Home screen showing personalised messages for the user.

Taking photo notes is only one use case. Searching for your notes is equally important.
The app allows users to switch easily from a list view to a map where it's possible to search notes based on location. Smart tags help to filter the content.
From Onboarding to every-day actions, suggestions guide the user through the app to help them complete their task.
Live notifications and an help sevice are directly accessible in the Top bar.

During the onboarding process users can choose their favourite photography subjects and their equipment.
This information is then used to push personalised suggestions when taking a note.
In the Analyse and Growth sections, several widgets help users manage their finance, from checking the cash-flow to investing and setting personal goals.

During the creation of Shutter Points we decided to push the boundaries and add different levels of motion to the improve the interaction.
